I rather see this then the issue when you are at the Theatre Settlement and the supply drop starts and you find out all of them have been looted by the NPCs while you were inside a no combat zone.

You can’t break from animation after starting to open supply drop crate even if you are getting shot repeatedly all you can do is watch yourself die

@InSaNeMeMbRaIn To open a supply crate you must press and hold the required button, if you stop holding the button then this should stop the animation for opening a supply crate.
