This may sound like a dumb question but how to I change colour of bike parts and character gear? All I can find are stickers which don’t interest me.
And also is there a way to turn off the other players avatars when playing, I find it off putting and somewhat disheartening when I finish a track by trying to do a challenge rather than speed and then to be told I’m 4th place and have to look at another players avatar taunting and waggling their butt in my face or something. I also don’t like how it interrupts the music of the game with a silly sound effect.

I couldn't find it at first either but when you grab a bike part like the frame for instance in the customization section at the top of the screen you will see it says stickers on the left and colour to the right, you have to scroll across to colour with R2 I think

Haha, I just plastered a bunch of same-colored stickers to "paint" my stuff. Glad the is an easier way
