For those that haven't figured it out, there's a way to minimize map clutter making track selection easier (opinion) by categorization. Go to map and filter (e.g. LB on Xbox), scroll down to "stadium finals". Now the map obviously only shows each unlocked stadium but in reality they are simply indexed holders for each "league" track set. The bottom row are all the tracks within that league and can be quickly selected. They also show all pertinent info including difficulty, your best times, option to view its associated leaderboards, if there is a contract currently available on the track and which sponsor it is, etc.

After having it like this for a while I noticed I started memorizing which tracks were in which league making selection much easier for me than the standard map cluster of a mess. It's personal preference of course, so your mileage may vary. Experiment with the filters and find if there's something that minimizes clutter for you. Hope it helps someone. Regards.
