Let me chime in here I think I can give you guys a good idea about how fair the stadium finals are.
You can look up my tracks in trials Fusion I am a ninja level 4 creator and a ninja level 3 rider. I platinums every track on trials Fusion with the exception of the most ******ed skill games. I think there were two.
Trials Rising’s stadium finals are completely outrageous from a sales standpoint and are not even remotely fair.
I have completed the schoolyard finals as well as theee others including the highland fling and I have now stopped playing the game.
For someone who can zero fault ninja level 2 tracks in fusion easily these tracks are nearly impossible.
New players WILL NOT continue to play the game and less players will play this game than fusion due to this intense difficulty spike.
#1 if you attempt to get a better score on a stadium track you will NEED to beat a platinum level time by a long shot. THAT IS POOR GAME DESIGN.
#2 The stadium finals themselves are 10x more difficult than beating the tracks individually the first time. So much so that I refuse to even grind them out and I put 50 days play time into Fusion.
#3 The stadium finals 3 levels in a row does not count your time so even if you record time a track it won’t record it. HUGE GAME DESIGN FLAW AGAIN.
#4 Beating the same levels in a row that you just completed is again A GAME DESIGN FLAW. It’s obvious that the first three tracks before the finals should have simply been more difficult the first time around than have the player play the same 3 tracks again. What they were thinking? Who knows, I blame Antii. Seems to me he screwed up the career mode pretty good even with that map.
#5 the argument that if it wasn’t hard it wouldn’t be fun is invalid here. Games are built to gradually become difficult as you advance. With stadium finals it’s 1, 2, 3 and then WTF 3 way harder tracks. Most of which are far more difficult to complete than to zero fault any of the extremes. DESIGN FLAW.
Again I platinums all Fusion tracks except two skill games.
And let’s face it, the stadium events are THE WORST tracks in the game anyway! I don’t know about you but I don’t want to spend days in a stadium trying to beat Top Canine on a difficult spike and if I fail repeat the first two over again! DUMB.
I was top 1000 ranked in Fusion on PS4. Screw these stadium finals I think I’m gonna plug fusion back in until this gets nerfed and believe me when they see how many people aren’t making it through it WILL get nerfed.
Make Top Canine 3 seconds slower on stadium finals. Done.
@Maninawhitesuit: Thank you for your reply. It's good to hear from the perspective of a really talented player.
I've put in quite a few hours now and having played every Trials game from HD I am finding this version more frustrating than enjoyable. I know my limits and with the thousands of collective hours I've put into all the previous games; I know I'm not going to get much better. It is completely discouraging to find myself unable to complete challenges that are supposed to be EASY. I don't know what is going on with the stadiums. It says you're doing Stadium Finals when you first play them, then it unlocks a Stadium Final which seems to be part of a uninterruptible contract (must complete all three stages without restarting). Which one is the final? And then there are Grand Finals?
I've just got to about level 48 and unlocked Highland Fling. I'm on the first run through and although I got first place on stage 1, I can't get close to first place on stage 2. There is a CPU player called Michael (Something) who is constantly rotating. He lands on sloping ramps from massive heights and has an instant and unrealistic forward velocity. He even rides on the bike upside down at one point. I suspect he can't fault. I can get close to beating him, but he's too good. I've not even unlocked the contract stage, so goodness knows what that is going to be like.
Even though it's destroying my enjoyment it helps me appreciate how amazingly good some players must be if they can beat these stages. Having said that, who is the game catering for at the EASY and MEDIUM levels? I would understand not being able to beat them at HARD or EXTREME, but being humiliated at the very first stadium finals contract is not a pleasant experience.
Like you - even though I'm nowhere near as good as you - I'm going to steer clear of these stadiums until they get balanced, as it is having a negative impact on my feelings towards this game. If they don't address it, then I guess there is plenty other content that I can enjoy. On a positive note, the sheer quantity and quality of the tracks I've played so far has been breathtaking!
The stadium finals are impossible to complete for me. While the individual stadium races pose no problem whatsoever, the "finals" are simply impossible. I haven't been able to complete any of them, yet my skill level is not that bad (I think), I can easily get gold on even most Hard tracks. But the opponents are just ridiculous in stadium finals. Not only you are not allowed one single mistake, you can't even be remotely slow because they immediately race away in front. The difficulty in stadium finals is completely unbalanced in my opinion.
I just noticed something. The basic stadium races (so not the "finals") are only "easy" for the very first time you play them! When you try to play these races again the opponents are given godly skills and speed too! So it's not just the finals but the basic races become impossible for the second time as well. This is ridiculous, I try to complete some stupid contracts on those races but it's hopeless since the opponents are way faster than me, while I had absolutely no problem beating them the first time.
Wow, I had no idea what everybody was talking about until now. I flew through all the stadium tracks and finals no problem with the intention of coming back once everything was unlocked. Wow just wow, now I cannot play them without riding against top players, what in the world we're redlynx thinking? I am a good rider and I will be grinding every track to get in the top 100 but until these stadiums are fixed I'll be giving them a miss. I don't understand why redlynx would do this among other things like releasing the game with a rediculous track central design, this game could easily be the best they have made but at the moment it needs some massive adjustments and in some areas a complete makeover..... 😴

Hello, I wanted to know whether or not Trials Rising matches you with players times who are of a similar skill level or not when it comes to the medal system (bronze, silver, gold, and platinum). Because some of the gold/platinum medal times are sometimes impossible to achieve, particularly when it comes to the stadium finals. And some contracts require you to place first, yet it isn't possible unless you're a really skilled player. I've completed most of the medium tracks (I think)... Do I need to complete all the easy/medium stadium finals to unlock more tracks? Or do I just need to achieve a gold medal on the normal tracks to unlock more?
Seriously, have you beaten all the KTM finals or were you simply replying regarding the first three stadium races in each series? The issue is with the KTM sponsored "Finals", not the first three races in each stadium's series which are easy on all league's stadiums. If you have done so, then you are among only a small handful that have done so and respect to you. Otherwise your reply is surely misplaced?Originally Posted by LIONDEN1 Go to original post
Each new higher league opens based on your player level only (the number by your user name in game). Once the league is open (the stadium) you must only complete the X-Cross, Supercross, and Duel then the new league's remaining tracks unlock. The KTM "Finals" (fourth race within the stadium) is not necessary to unlock remaining tracks.Originally Posted by SteelIllusion Go to original post
