It seems that the first time you run the stadium races you are given a default ghost which has a reasonable difficulty. Whenever you come back to rerun the track, in my case, 4 out of the 8 ghosts were set to world record tier ghosts. I am now unable to get a higher medal on the race without setting a world record tier time. I think this has been noted in at least a few threads, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Going back to clear all the contracts and I found that if you complete a contract, you can then restart after the player victory screen and play as many times as you want without dealing with the top level competitors and try and better your score while still being online. However, you do need a contract available for this to work as I only realized it after completing a few and there were no contracts left to go back on in the earlier tracks. With a wireless xbox that is hidden in a closet, I don't like the idea of having to disconnect from wifi to play stadium matches, so this work around may work for a few others.

I was playing a stadium track last night and got 3rd place and my score didn't update. That's not 3rd place in my heat, I mean 3rd place overall. I needed to get top 2 but I was racing the 1st and 2nd place ghosts. Luckily I was able to go offline and re-create my run.

This is a serious oversiite by the developer. I was expected to beat some of the best speed runners in the game in order to progress, which is never going to happen. The only way around this for me was to disconnect the network so the game would load the AIs instead and then reconnect it. Noone should have to do this.

I also have the issue where I got bronze on a stadium... am now trying to go back to get a better medal/time. But on the first race I need to come in the top 4, but 4 of the 8 in the race are some of the top 10 players in the world xD

It's frustrating cos if you don't come in the top 4 it don't even log your time :/

It's kind of insane this oversight made it into the final game. I expect a few bugs and hiccups on a new release this big, but wow, this is a major one.

I quickly learned to spend a lot of time on each event as I progressed, use my time against the computer controlled opponents to set a time im decently happy with before I moved on.

My next stadium final is against the world #1 who has a glitched time of 15 seconds (20 seconds faster than the world #2) xD

Yeah, this is insane... Montreal mayhem and Monster mash (Medium tracks) are harder than any Extreme track There is no way to beat those 4 guys... lol

but that's not how it works. i just got a simple gold on the first try and instantly get nova or class now. its literally impossible

I keep getting classification or burner I don't mind getting beat by them but I keep getting platinum by over 1.5 secs and it won't give it to me cos I'm not qualifying it's b.s
