2nd half of the video, audio is distorted like this. Not my video, but having exactly the same problem.

Logitech G633 headphones. Using laptop speakers is fine.

I'm afraid the game is unplayable, not buying until this is confirmed as fixed.

I know someone that has the same problem.
When he turns off the volume effects, it still happens (with any sound, like a voice, wind, shots....)

Headphone : HyperX Cloud 2

But, when he switch to his television speakers, it works well.
PS : it started at the beginning of the game.

Just now tried connecting via bluetooth to AV receiver and 5.1 setup. Sound is ok, but obviously that's not a solution - I want to be able to use my headphones.

Common denominator with Hyper X Cloud is virtual 7.1 sound, and connection via USB.

My mate solved the problem by going in "sound".

Then, right click on his headset -> properties
Then in the "Spatial Sound" tab, and disable the spatial sound.
It works well now.

The game must have a problem with this kind of thing.

Ok, that "fixed" the issue.

Still a bug though, and this is merely a workaround. Thanks for help mate, at least I can really try the game out now.

I get this as well, have been throughout all the different beta phases, TT etc. the Spatial sound switch is only a temp fix for me, I switch it on and off since the distortion happens every so often and affects all audio from my PC, if I have a twitch stream running on the other monitor etc. Are you guys using USB connected headphones? Plantronics Rig 800HX wireless here. Pretty much any change to audio settings for the device works, you can also switch between say switch between audio frequencies, but again, only a temporary fix for me. Whether I have spatial sound on or off, the distortion will come back and if I have spatial on, I switch it off, and if its off, i switch it on. Its like the game is degrading the audio output to USB and by changing any audio setting really resets it for a while.
