Jeez you lot are never happy are you? Div 1- "Waaaah we dont want to be ganked and shot easily", Ubi OK- we will make a normalized versions, problem solved right?? "Waaaahhhh we want a solo queue now!!" Ubi" WTF"??
As a player who spent most of his time solo in the DZ and getting owned I can say there is nothing more thrilling in gaming than ghosting by roaming kill squads of rogues. FFS it is meant to be a no holds barred, Purge like environment. The risk you take is running into organized squads. Most of the time if you are careful you can identify them before hand and just alter your path. FFS if ubi listens to you lot anymore the game will COD or Overwatch before you know it
The DZ in general makes little sense lore wise, at least the pvp part of it doesn't make much sense. The enemy npcs being all over do.Originally Posted by RainyAttendant0 Go to original post
See, you're ghosting. Literally avoiding PVP at all costs. I like PVP in Division 2 and am not afraid of shooting other players or going rogue myself. I'm not the one avoiding PVP here. There's a difference between wanting an even playing ground for PVP in a PVP environment and no PVP at all.Originally Posted by DeadlyByDesign1 Go to original post
This is because you made an assumption rather an asked a question. But hey, they've already confirmed the solo queue DZ, so I don't have to argue about much else.
And believe it or not, call of duty is a much more balanced game, especially over Division 1.
Since TD1's Aaron Keener was the lore's most notorious rogue/traitor/mass-murderer, what might make more sense in the DZ is (in addition to the checkpoint auto-turrets) is if the extraction helo/VTOL Osprey were to arrive w/ door-gunners operating mini-guns. Whichever authentic agent had called for extraction, has a shoulder-mounted IR emitter blinking so that the extraction aircraft can identify who they're primarily helping, and the door-gunners can target any ambushing rogue saboteurs and NPCs. However, those Rogues and NPCs can also use their high-end weapons to try to damage/destroy the extraction aircraft in addition to trying to murder you/the person who called for help.Originally Posted by Scyric Go to original post
While this might sound like a mess, rival developer games like R*'s GTA Online (RAGE engine) have catastrophic crashes of jets & copters slamming into fiery debris in metro city streets, so it should be do-able in the Snowdrop engine.
How are solo player suppose to meet and team up with new player's if you can't form groups in the dz.?
The match making is for getting something done and in my experience after everyone achieves there goal they disband most times without talking ever.
The dz is where I met some good friends who sadly didn't like the changes to the dz and now only play once and awhile.
Some are not even sure if they will play div2.
So I have to start out solo again but if this is how it works how am I going to make new friends to play with?
Well, the majority of my friend's list was made from matchmaking Incursions in Division 1. It's over 100 and I had about a third of it active during the open beta.Originally Posted by Millenium_Exile Go to original post
And I'm mainly a solo player.
Regardless, the DZ still has matchmaking that searches for 3 other players. You can still group up with players as a solo player if you so wish to.
