No matter what I do, I can't get passed the first "connecting" screen in the Beta.
This first happened to me toward the end of the private beta, but I didn't really worry about it. However, now it's happening in the open beta too.
No matter how long I wait, or how many times I reset my game, uninstall and reinstall the game, restart my PC, and reset my internet connection, the game just sits at the connecting screen (the first one, before you even create a character, that says "connecting to The Division 2 online services"). I have also made sure the game is not blocked by Windows firewall or anything.
It can literally sit there for hours. It never even errors out.
Anyone know why, or have any ideas?
This same issue happened to me during the closed beta, started on Friday night after crashing out of the game. I was never able to get back into the game, just sat there on the Connecting to online services screen the entire time. And it appears to still be an issue for me, as my game is currently sitting on the same screen again. They didn't acknowledge it as an issue last time and unless they do this time and then figure out how to fix it you won't get to play at all because it will never get past that screen.
Based on everything I did last time to try to get it work, reinstall the game, change a whole bunch of internet settings, and so on, I believe it's an account problem or other issue on their side.
Hi Agents,
Thanks for reporting this! Could you please try the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ HERE
I'm having the same issue from the private beta where I'm stuck on "connecting to Division 2 Online Services" screen again. In the private beta I wait for 2 hrs to connect and follow the steps to "fix" the connectivity issue but didn't work. Even in the Open beta I couldn't get pass that screen or connect to the Division 2 server. I hope someone in the community fix this issue, I really enjoy the few hour of the private beta that I was about to play before that issue happened.
I am having the same issue.
I had the same experience during the Closed Beta the other week. During the Closed Beta, I was able to play for about an hour and then booted and then unable to connect, suck in the connecting loop. The issue was was hardly addressed by any dev on the forums despite multiple posts about the issues. The most people recieved was a link the the Connection FAQ link the one posted above, however none of the suggestions provided remedy the situation. I tried all of the suggestions during the Closed Beta and I have tried them today for the Open Beta and I am still unable to get past the Connecting Screen. What's worse is that post the CLosed Beta I submitted a ticked about the issue and was only given a copy/pasted response with no helpful feedback or mention of the issue being addressed.
I am extremely disappointed, please give this issue the attention it needs.
Same scenario here. Followed all the troubleshooting steps. During the closed beta, I could play for one day and then could not get past the Connecting screen. Now it is the same with the Open Beta, except I can't connect at all. Whatever the issue was in Closed Beta, appears to be the same issue in Open Beta. Support never even followed up with thread dealing the issue in the closed beta.
Honestly, creating a new account just to play this game isn't worth it considering everything else I have connected to my main account. Here's hoping support gets on this one, unless the pool of players experiencing this issue isn't large enough.![]()
I too am stuck at the loading screen. Tried everything ubisoft suggested, internet settings, hosts, background applications, firewall, etc. I believe it is an account issue. I played in private beta with a fully functioning gameplay. I exited the game and launched again, realizing that the game is now stuck at the connection screen
Yep, it is 100% an account issue, that started after first playing the private beta.
It seems like everyone has the same story. We played the private beta once, then it wouldn't let us connect again. Now it's doing the same thing in the open beta. I know there was a ton of people that were wrongly banned during th private beta, so maybe it's related to that.
