    What happened with Trials Rising?

I loved to play the old Trials Games (Trials HD, Trials Evolution & Trials Fusion)!

    But now...
So many easy Tracks, Training Tracks, Lootboxes, Grinding, Grinding and more Grinding.

I remember playing Trials was around 10 easy Tracks, 10 medium Tracks and
the difficulty was getting quickly harder to beat the extreme Tracks.
Also the DLCs only had 2-3 easy Tracks, Mediums and lots of hard Tracks.

After playing ~30 easy Tracks, Trainingparkours and Stadiumraces i quit Trials Rising.
    Its so boring.

Maybe the game gets better after some Updates or with upcoming DLCs.

Whats happened is, its gotten so much better in almost every way. More replay value and custom tracks will be so much better too.

    what happened?

they want you to stay in the game. and yes, it IS boring. play every track thousand of times, keep grinding and grinding and grinding to leveleling up.
    that's really stupid and frustrating.
maybe better to go back to trials fusion

Easy levels are only easy if all you are thinking about doing is completing them. Set yourself a ghost from the top player as your challenge and the track will be 100 times harder.

Not knowing your own strength seems to be the theme of the month in gaming.
Bioware release a looter-shooter without interesting loot, Red Lynx hide the core of their game behind a wall of boring grinding and a clumsy, uninformative worldmap.

@ Smeghead ... sure, you can challenge yourself and have some fun on easy tracks, but I think the majority of Trials players want to hit that wall where the track itself is a challenge.
Plus the contracts kinda get in the way of making your own challenges, e.g. if I`d try to beat a friend`s time I`d rather not do 30 backflips.

I actually don`t mind the contracts. They would be a good addition if only used to unlock cosmetics. But they shouldn`t be used to lock out tracks and block the "natural" progression, which has always been based on your skill, not your patience.

all people can see: it's the same policy as in the crew 2. it's all about grinding. exaggerated grinding.

    what a crap!!!

hold people in the game. no matter what.

Driving each track 2 or 3 times to get gold and doing a contract while you are at it qualifies as "grinding grinding grinding". I`m tired....

    What happend

With trials Evo had and fusion you would notice the spike in difficulty but with rising, it progresses more slowly each league giving you a bit harder tracks and stadium finals giving a competitive element. The reason it takes so long to get difficult tracks is because there are new players and the devs want you to go back and do the contracts it gives you a reason to replay tracks except with a twist where in Evo fusion and had you would have to sometimes replay tracks to get better, same with rising except it rewards you.
