    In-Game Photo Thread

I think the only reason I haven't beaten the game yet is because I spend so much time in photo mode. Drop yours below!

IMHO... New Dawn is way better than Far Cry 5! (WARNING spoilers/screenshots)

So anyway, I prefer Far Cry New Dawn over Far Cry 5. Why? The gameplay is better (more polished, active, busy, engaging, rewarding). It's a fun sandbox environment to play in and there are many wild encounters. The Expedition missions are excellent (good map variety and re-playability). I adore the vibrant fluoro-like colour palette; the day and night atmospheres, the game is SO beautiful there are many awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, frozen by the splendour moments. Many. The new Menu System is slick, quick, easy to understand and learn. It's a much better system for retaking outposts which is a big part in the game's lifespan. While some will whine and complain 'bout the Sawblade launcher being overpowered. Who friggin' cares?! It's bloody awesome!! Especially upgraded (I think 4000 damage presently but I'm aiming for 10,000 hehe). Some of those saw blades travel to distant stars and other galaxies, cool! "Wrath" is my favourite Eden's gift ability (upgraded 10 times so far). Is it better than Blood Dragon? No not better but on par with. Yep photo mode, very important. All round better than 5.

    Cons: None for me.

Ubisoft, please consider developing a "remake" (remastered version) of Far Cry 2 for the old-school Far Cry fans. That was the adventure that pledged my allegiance to Far Cry.

Also, if I went overboard and hijacked Your thread AndyFleckner I apologise. I'm just enthusiastic.

OOPS! Um yeah so I just realised I got something wrong in my previous comments. I haven't upgraded "Wrath" 10 times but instead the 'refresh rate' of Eden's gift, (BIG difference!) sorry my mistake got a little excited there, hehe.

I gotta' question though if somebody's kind enough to answer... Can you all do that "double-jump" thingy? Jump and then jump higher again while you're up in the air? Is that just part of this game or a glitch or Eden's gift or a Perk or because I'm wearing a piece of the Rex "Power" Colt (Blood Dragon) costume...? It's highly reminiscent of 2013 Shadow Warrior's ninja movement (feels like you're flying around almost). If it's a glitch I'm never updating this game!

Far Cry has very special "freedom of character movement", always did, always has, e.g. run, jump and then manoeuvre straight into a ground slide (as you're coming down); or jump, fly and drop onto an enemy from above etc. Unique lack of restrictions action. You can practically bunny hop in this game too. I hate bull fighting but that strategy of side-stepping as the beast charges you, you can exploit it in this game perfectly and avoid any and all damage if you time it correctly. Olé!

Double jump is one of Eden's Gift perks.
You probably bought the perk without reading what it does

Apology for the late response. Cheers, thankyou for clearing that up for me. You know that scene in Predator when Blain says: "I ain't got time to bleed..." My attitude to reading stuff when I'm deeply immersed in a virtual world is: "Ain't got time to read..." hehe. Probably should read things though, could be valuable information... like how not to end up like Blain!
