I suspect that this would have been reported by now and as a cosmetic bug most likely low on the priority list, but I just have to make sure that it is knows while it keeps bugging me.
Since the new helicopter control scheme was added and selected in the gameplay options, the helicopter ground/water effects pretty much vanish: https://i.imgur.com/XXxazva.jpg
When changing back to the classic control scheme you get the glory of the helicopter back:https://i.imgur.com/u3CEtfT.jpg

The new controls are great as I use a pad for flying and driving and makes launching rockets with helicopters is so much fun, but flying low under the sams or just hugging the ground without the rotor wash on the ground or water I instantly keep reverting back to classic controls

Please add it to the bug tracker as every one who doesn't knows better and uses the new controls have no idea how "much" they are missing from the flying immersion as it is such a great detail! https://i.imgur.com/IgCRbJd.png
