    1) College
    2) Stress
    3) terrible matchmaking
    4) low/no risk, high reward moves (eg. BP bash) while high risk, low reward moves exist (eg. Nobushi's retreating move, you can still get hit mid animation...)
    5) boredness: I'm already done with this season lmao.
    6) Grinding became unnecessary, there's no reason to rep up unless you like to show off or play arcade

Just a thought and reminder after i read through all these posts. First person shooters of any kind are easy to balance when the focus is placed on the shooting.

There are things i hate about for honor but i hate fps games more right now by far because they are mostly the same game in different clothing.

If one thing would make me stop playing tho its bad matchmaking/players who play terribly tactics wise. I cannot stand people who in pvp go try to solo the guardian without alerting the team and just die. Or worse yet feed a weakened guardian to the enemy team cause they dont use quick chats. Or when defenders play entirely in the healing lane and not on any points. Or when as an attack i use literally 2 tickets the whole mode and we kept the ram alive and had 15 minutes left entering phase 3 but a bot or stupid person just couldnt wait for "dont respawn coming to revive" so you ticket out due to their stupid solo run ins and repeated deaths.

For me, used to play almost everyday till season 6ish, then things that got to me just added up. I only play 3 heroes and the lack of progression as you go is really nothing. What am I playing for?

My Orochi is 30 something then they reworked him into a light attack spammer. I like the double top, it was his signature and they minimized it to just all fast lights=boring. My Kensei is in the teens and is good. I liked him before and after the rework. Now i play Musha mainly and he's 20 something. He is hard to play and win with which is fun and aggravating at the same time. I don't care for any other heroes so what is the point of leveling up. Sure my skill goes up but there is nothing but outfits which are poorly done and some symbols. I have all the gear I want with all the perks equipped. I have 100k steel and 350k salvage but nothing to spend it on.

Besides hero progression the biggest thing for me since I only play those heroes is it is always a sweaty match. I wanna play games to relax have some fun, to get away. Be off in far away world, play a someone I could never be. An escape and have some fun. This game is great but so boring. Breach or Dominion over and over same thing. New maps are cool but none for Breach? Have a cool mode that is fun and it is gone.

I guess the last reason is the hero kits are poorly done. Sure an Orochi can just light, light, light. No fun to play or fight. BP light, bash, light new hero same. Not a big fan of the testers. It isn't a matter of can I deal with the hero doing a spam move or not it is that they can spam. When someone tests this don't they see that " wow this is an easy way to attack, no one will do just that they will want to use the whole kit." Everyone would like an easy way to win but come on these things shouldn't be allowed in the game.

The game by itself just isn't fun for long, maybe an hour or so. But I keep coming back each season then put it away for weeks..

Obviously FPS balancing and FH balancing are different fish, but that wasn’t my point. The point is a free game has done better in its first month than a triple A game has done in two years.

I would prefer to be ganked by two JJ's and two BP's then play that Apex BR crap. Or the first month of FH release. I would most likely hop back and forth between FH, The Division and Sekiro just because they're new.

Yes this is definitely a true point, but it is also true the FPS and Battle Royale style games already have a strong audience. But you are absolutely right.

At the same time I absolutely agree with Dry Fish. I'll be playing Sekiro someday, but yeah BR stuff of any variety has never appealed to me. I've given them a try, I just find them monotonous and boring.
