adm666001, why do you want to get rid off snakes?! They are cool. Snizzling in the bushes, just invisible, somewhere nearby.... they create tension. Snakes should be developped more in the next games! Not only on the ground, but on the branches of trees also. If it is jungles. Let us feel how they are creeping up to us. How sound and hissing approaches. I want to see even first person snake moving. In the grass. Through the snake's eyes. It will help us to determine from which direction the snake is approaching. Fast mini-puzzle for orientation.
New York and L.A. wasn't enough to stop Plissken

Nothing Far Cry does would either
Hi there!
I'm not entirely sure what you mean here. If you want us to remove snakes from the game, well... that's not going to happen.Originally Posted by adm666001 Go to original post

They are easy to find and kill. Just watch your mini map. Once something is there that you don't see, look down. Swap to a pistol or some other weapon that has a reticle. It will change colors when you are pointing at the snake. Then shoot it (or walk around it if you are opposed to killing it).Originally Posted by adm666001 Go to original post
Yeah, they are annoying as are all elements of the Far Cry series that causes any type of drugged/drunk effects. For those of us with motion sickness issues, these things do not help. That is part of the reason I hated the 'capture missions in FC5'...
They are annoying because of overdoing. Too much snakes. In every looting point they are waiting for you. This is a typical Far Cry developers' mistake! They are doing something good....but do it too much. So with enemies, animals. Overdoing always irritates people. The day the developers find the right balance will be the great day of Far Cry franchise.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
OP, you sound like Indie Jones.
While I understand some may have such a fear of snakes they can't stand even seeing them, you can at least hear them well enough to roughly know where they are. If I can't see them I'll equip my binocs, which detect them easily, then just shoot them with a pistol. Or do what Indie did, use fire (Molotov).
The game, like the last 3 FCs, makes no claim to not have predators though, and they can't be expected to omit certain ones just for the few whom have issues with them.
