But what about the duplication bug or the fact the items I have equipped are no where to be found.

Just had this issue as well. Turned the game on and all my customized items were gone and the loading icon was on each one. Tried FlevoHD's fix and i can confirm it works on xbox as well.
Update: Ok, the fix works but its not permanent. Turned the game off for an hour or so, went back on and everythings messed up again. Having to keep unequipping everything and relaunching the game is going to get real tedious. This game needs an update pretty fast because it seems to be getting worse day by day..
