Yeah online sucks, feels like a copy paste of gta online which was lame. Love the story though, really captures the atmosphere, and the story telling and references are perfect!Originally Posted by show_stoppa Go to original post
Absolutely disgusting.
Ubisoft won me over with Origins and I got the Gold Edition of Odyssey as a result. But as quickly as they won me over, they just lost my trust.
I will be requesting a refund on the Gold Edition. If they can't give me my money back for that, I'll happily take a refund on the whole game. We'll see if they oblige.
I can't be complicit in this kind of ****ty developer behaviour. GLAAD needs to revoke their nomination of this game.
TW3 never had a forced Shani romance. You were able to get out of it with dialogue options.Originally Posted by AnimusLover Go to original post
And there were plenty of easy fixes to this.
The easiest of which is getting rid of the romantic cutscenes altogether. It doesn't ****ing get easier than that. They don't even need to replace them. We'll fill in the blanks with head canon.
Ubisoft needs to understand that 2 people don't need to be in LOVE to have a baby. Okay, your character needs a kid, great. They don't need to enter a common law relationship with someone to ****ing do that.
Well I'm not one to post in forums or what not, but I have been waiting weeks for this patch so I can finally play part 2 of the DLC. Imagine my joy when I found out there would be a hot fix today. Now imagine my extreme PISSED OFFNESS at the CRAP I just spent the last 5 hours running! I never interacted with the first release of this chapter but how could anyone think this is any better? Still all the forced flirting, feelings, and a child. Sure I'd love for Kassandra to have a family one day, no where near Nalatakus. I don't even like him as a character and to be forced to interact with him with feelings I would never choose for my Kassandra is just outrageous. Nor would I ever choose to settle Kassandra down in a 'sunshine and rainbows' happy home life. The entire concept is unrealistic and forced into the story where I never wanted it. Hell I'd take a forced romance with Alcibiades, at least his character was actually written with a spine and more personality than a wet blanket and knows to leave when the fun is over.
Sorry, very much anger. I will return to my second run now. Luckily I haven't started the DLC on it, and will try my hardest to pretend I never saw any of this supposed fix to a forced fairy tale 50's cliché family.
No, you weren't.Originally Posted by TachankaMain1 Go to original post

EXACTLY as I predicted ...... The people that were mad will never get over it no matter what Ubisoft does so they should have just done nothing because now the people that weren't mad are mad they ended up with a bug ridden mess because resources were put to a rewrite that should have been used for bug fixing this messy spaghetti code
There is just no logical way around the FACT it take a man, a woman, and a Baby to start a new bloodline ...... Without the baby there is no Assassin Bloodline
You can have your own opinions but you can't have your own facts ..... It takes a man and a woman to procreate and everyone wants to pretend it's otherwise
Procreation takes a man and a woman .... If that pizzes you off then blame God or Mother Nature or Gaia or whatever .....
Sex just takes two willing subjects (keyword: willing) and gender is largely irrelevant
Stop confusing Sex with Procreation
The procreation was never really the problem for me, just the lovey-dovey-ness of ít all... Natakass is soooo boring and bland, Kassandra suddenly turns into the cliche of a 1950s giggling housewife... come one, you can't by any measure of objectiveness accept this as an example of good writing. It's a complete sh'tshow, that's what it is.Originally Posted by longjohn119 Go to original post
Love isn't required to procreate. The depiction of the relationship is the problem.Originally Posted by longjohn119 Go to original post
You absolutely could. It's a 100% avoidable romance (I avoided it in my playthrough).Originally Posted by AnimusLover Go to original post
