Steam is telling me I still have to wait 1 day AND 22 hours before I get to play it? I thought it would be available at midnight, like most other releases. There's absolutely nothing to gain (except the little cosmetics) from pre-ordering this. People who bought the gold edition on PS4 & XBO pay the same price, get the stickerbook (not that I care) and a 50/50 chance of a 1-2 day early delivery (except those Australian guys who play since the 21st) and we have to wait (at least in my timezone) for 6pm in the evening? This really really sucks. Others let pre-orders and/or special editions in early (a day to a week) and here we don't even get to play on midnight? Really disappointed and hoping you guys rethink this. It's just a punch in the face for people who don't care about physical copies (which you should love since you get way more money out of us).

Uplay is midnight (at least for CET time).
Steam Releases most games at 10AM PST (7pm / 19:00 if you are from germany, which i assume because of your nickname)
Thats BS, but thats how Steam works. :/
Quotes from reddit:
UbiKeeba: "All editions of the game should go live at the same time."
Me: "Thanks for the info! Steam too?"
UbiKeeba: "Correct."

That's definitely Interesting. I would love to believe that, but I only believe it when I see it.
I really don't know how I didn't see that one. Thank you very much! Looks like everything will be goodOriginally Posted by EmptyBottle4 Go to original postSince the beta was right on time (let's ignore the 1 1/2h timeout shortly after) I'm looking forward to this.
A little bit, sure. But for the most part it's not "the standard" as other releases show and from the points I made, it's really bad value for your money in comparison with the hard copy console releases. Which have to be pressed, labeled, packaged and delivered to the customers in the best case, to a reseller (who also want's a part in the chain) in the worst. All that doesn't apply to digital releases and we still have to pay the same price, which I would be at least O.k. with if the release time would be midnight and not in the evening. I bet that a lot of console players will get their delivery on Monday. I'd order a hard copy but without a console, it still needs Uplay. At least that's what I heard.Originally Posted by s0ad667 Go to original post
Edit: From what I can tell, there even isn't another option for PC since the "PC DVD"-Version I found on Amazon(.de) looks pretty cancelled.
