    Cant connect to server

    I open the game, it tries to connect for a while then I get a connection failed, servers unreachable yada yada [5-00000084]

    sometimes it will eventually get into the game but wont let me play any game modes say saying that there is no one in the party and it requires at least one person also all my orders disappear. (group leader only error)

    I have had this problem for 3 days now. I have tried the connectivity fixes to the best of my ability. I believe I have indeed done port forwarding right, I do however live in china and cannot read the Chinese on my routers port forwarding pages very well.

    I notice when I turn on a vpn I dont have any problem connecting to the game although playing anything other than arcade is too laggy doing this.

    I have this problem fairly often but it usually resolves itself and sometimes I wont see it for weeks, however it has been three days straight where I cannot even access the game now....

    what do chums?

    Hey dogzabob, welcome to the forum!
    I appreciate you've tried some connectivity troubleshooting already, if you could grab a screenshot of your port settings our team will be able to double check them for you here.

    screenshots.

    yesterday I could play again somewhat normally and today the problem has returned. I spend at least 3 times as long trying to get the game to work rather than playing.

    @dogzabob I have removed the Imgur link since it contains personal information. Please upload those screenshots over a Ubisoft Support ticket, and reply back with your ticket number.

    Thanks dogzabob! I noticed you asked a question about Google DNS. We officially suggest Google DNS, but you mentioned that you are unable to access Google in your region. In that case, we do not have any other official alternative DNSs to use. We recommend reaching out to your ISP for suggestions.
