Hi all
My friend and me played FCND for 4 hours yesterday with no issues and today, when I invite him or he tries to invite me, he gets an Alberta-FFF0BDC0 error. We are both located in DK and running on cabled 50+mbit internet.
We have tried all the troubleshooting steps from the FC5 Snowshoe issue as well, but it doesn't change anything.
So far I have only found 1 other post on Steam discussion forums indicating another user being hit by the issue.
Anyone else experienced the error?
Hey Finnerup, welcome to the forum!
The dev team is investigating this issue, would you be able to confirm the following:
- Are you and your co-op partner playing on the same platform (Steam or Uplay PC)?
- Does this issue happen after creating a party in the main menu, or while in-game?
Please also try the following connectivity troubleshooting for New Dawn, thanks!
Hi
Thanks for getting back to me.
To answer your questions:
1) We are both play from uPlay, but this issue happens even before we make contact in the game. Today we are simply testing the issue from his computer by him starting the game and from the opening screen he click "Invite players" and after a split-second of trying to connect to ubisoft servers he get the Alberta-error. So no need for me to start my computer to test it, since the error appears before he even invites me.
2) It happens both in main menu when he simply click "invite players" but also if I boot up the game and invite him. He receives the invite in uPlay overlay interface well enough, but when accepting it and his game begins to connect to mine, he gets Alberta error.
We have done all the steps in the troubleshooting connectivity section, but to no avail.
Best regards.
Interesting - perhaps the firewall included in Defender was affecting Co-op in some way. Skype though? Very odd.Originally Posted by Finnerup Go to original post
I'll get this information passed along. Just happy that you can play normally now!![]()
