Now i dont know if this goes to the right place, but i feel like this is something technical with the game that (as an audiophile) really has to be looked into.
I dont own any consoles myself, but i have noticed from various PS4 Far Cry 4 gameplay videos that on those consoles, on those game versions, audio fidelity is much higher. Reloading sounds, various speeches and other miscellaneous sounds seem to have a lot higher sample rate. Older-gen consoles lack this, understandably enough, because they had to compress the game size to fit on a CD. (or DVD, dunno which one)
Higher sample rate sfx seems to be used on the newer-gen consoles, but PC's still have audio masters that are of low quality, equivalent of those found on older-gen consoles.
Far Cry 4 on PC really shouldnt have a compromise regarding audio quality. If this sort of stuff would be an optional update, it would satisfy everyone.
Why hasn't the PC versions received an update on audio quality? This sort of stuff really stands out, can we please get this fixed?
Alright, threw together a video.

This shows the audio issue pretty well.
Also, are viewmodel shadows possible to still implement in FC4? Out-of-topic, but im rather intrigued by this.
