    Maybe in the occupied DZ the player count could be larger.

    Don't want the density to be high everytime no matter where you go.

    Would also probably consider 14 instead of 16. So that it's not 4x4 but allows for some wildcards.

    And seriously if you want to just only PvP - conflict is that way ->

    Let's leave the pvp, pve politics in the other thread.
    Were just talking about the size of the dz.
    And I personally like the big dz and exploring it.
    I never had any issue with lag maybe some did.
    I feel there should be more then just 3 teams of 4 in at once though

    How might a smaller size impact the overall tension of the DZ? Do you feel it might calm things down because you rarely run into others or is that same anticipation what cranks up the tension, a hostile being around ny given corner?

    At the moment with a 12 - player count its perfect as far as I am concerned. The DZ is small enough that anything above that number will see you not being able to avoid player interaction at all. In the Beta with 12 players the landmarks were dropping like flies but the DZ was capable of being ghosted, especially when going White Rogue. Any more players and it’ll just be a mess in such a small space.

    I agree with this. Though I want to PvP in the DZ, that is not the only focus. 12 is a good middle ground as I run into people enough while also getting enough of a break to do other activities. 16 just creates more of a race for landmarks and more instances of elbows rubbing together. I want to see players and question what they do, not make it so common that it becomes like seeing another npc

    I definitely prefer 12 per phase. Anymore risks turning into something like last stand or conflict were PvP is always expected. I think seeing other players should be intermittent, it gives encounters more weight if they are not expected. It also gives players a more lonely dystopian mood for the DZ. Too many players in the area will hurt the PvE side of things. Add more players to conflict matches if you're looking to expand PvP encounters.

    12 right now is definitely the limit for the dz's current size.
    I would like the dz's actually territory size to be expanded then consider adding more player's.

    I think 16 is a good number but I also like PVP and the fact that it seemed we did not run into many when in the DZ yet when you did, it was alwahys the same people.

    What I would like is more extraction zones. They all but elemenated check point camping for rogues but those guys will now just rape the extractions since there are only 2.

    16 people in dz's with this size? Get ready to troll or be trolled hard upon that is what I say. 12 is just fine. I am more worried about having groups joining DZ. Should be solo only or max duo.

    Being someone that has played in the Private Beta (assuming others that have commented have too) I am not quite sure that playing in the largest of the 3 DZ's is the best position to say that 12 players isn't enough. When it comes to DZ South and DZ West, I think we will run into to people more often as they are the smaller two DZs. Plus when playing during the beta, I am sure that I when I was in DZ East, it was under poplulated but didn't feel any more quietier than the DZ in TD1 does at times. Me and a friend only ran in to 5 people, max, meaning that there was a total of 7 people in the Dark Zone. I am hoping that come launch, more people will be in the DZ on a regular basis, and it will show that the numbers are right, or a small increase, ie from 12 to 16 is needed.
