DZ limit to 16 players instead of 12 | Forums

Kind of hoped they'd bring back the big dz.
If the beta is any sign the dz's will be to small

I remember during one of the Devs streams mentioning the size of the DZ being smaller, but increasing the number of actual DZ zones. Don't remember any talk of the player number per DZ zone though.

So I really hope they have a bigger one at least.

I hope they do increase the size, 12 is just too empty for any real PVP, I know that some only want to PVE in the DZ, but a low count is bad for them too. Imagine if you are in there and a group of 4 is just wiping you, nothing is coming to help you, you need to just keep switching back and forth until you maybe find a server with less active PVP. At least with 16 the chances of having some DZ police is much better.

DZ East seemed small for me even for 12p. 16p and is soloers can never extract. There's nowhere to go.

I was hoping more they'd do 16 in South or West depending on how the maps look like.

The more players you have in the DZ the higher probability of lag appearing more and more.

Smaller DZs are a way of mitigation to the lag.
