Seeing the OG's back on the forums has got me excited for the future of this game. I will do my part and promote the track creators I think share my vision of what makes trials "fun."

Same here, im actually enjoying Rising more seeing all the old faces back on it. Im almost thinking of getting back on my YouTube and upload some custom runs after career mode is done. Im hopeful that RL will clean up TC a little bit, maybe make it easier to navigate with better layouts, etc. I even thought about resuming my speedrun/ninja runs of the week series if anyone would be inclined, for those who are new- feel free to check it out and let me know what you think.

Interesting theory but, not talking about difficulty kell, I'm a huge fan of technical tracks. What I think kisk & I are getting at is the smooth ramps that cover nearly every track in the game as well as the general hold down the gas mentality that has overthrown the old school roots. For example: to this day I still have not been able to hit the timesaver on building blocks, an easy track that is not about holding down the gas.

I'd love to see a trials game that take's itself seriously. Think if Forza or Project Cars wanted to hop into the trials simulator space. It's the difference between NBA JAM & NBA 2K.

I think ubi turned the fun & silly knob up but in so doing, they've completely alienated the hardcore market.

Soothe your vibe friend. I'm not trolling. Again, I'm not disusing difficulty - it's much more nuanced and subtle than that. The amount of angles that make up each obstacle was nerfed. The bike has a magnet that sticks you onto those angles, another nerf. Yes, there are ninja tracks, that's not what we are discussing. I think the point you are missing that the OP and many other who have chimed in seem to relate to is this: This game was much harder to succeed at in the past & it's gotten more and more casual friendly with each iteration. There are still a select set of hardcore riders who crave a deeper experience & here we are to communicate that to the developer.

I hate it when people call others trolls for simply disagreeing and call them illogical for their own failure to grasp their point, and no offense but clearly you don't know who Murdoc is because if you did you probably wouldn't have embarrassed yourself with your shaming tactics. Using ad hominems makes you look petty and isn't necessary when your arguments stand on their own merit.
