So not allowing people to spend money on upgrading to deluxe is because they want your money? I don't understand.Originally Posted by Gravelmead Go to original post
Somewhere along the lines. you have to buy the deluxe, gold , whatever from the off. So the more they make out of bits of fluff that they are not quite clear about the quality of, your paying out money for a lucky dip in the hope that it will be worth it. If you go with standard then want to upgrade then it's buy the whole thing over like I had to do with FC3.
The brains behind how to maximise profits get payed a lot for thinking out of the box, you won't see it coming until it's to late.
It's a way to push you on day one, to pay over the odds for mist.
Well, I'd like to see a deluxe DLC added for a cost. I'm in Australia and if we buy some games from shops and retail versions, but it's generally a code. Very very rarely, does Australia ever get offered anything higher than standard edition codes or games for the PC platform I'll always buy from a retail shop unless an online platform is a lot cheaper. The deluxe edition packs of: Hurk legacy pack; retro weapon pack; and knight pack would be nice to have. I just don't any reason to not offer the deluxe pack as a dlc. I mean the dev/publishers are getting the money anyway right? Now I don't know if other countries get messed over with retail standard vs retail deluxe or retail collector's but I can assure you, only consoles get offered these. The last 3 games on the PC that have been released and purchasable from a physical retail store, a la EB Games is Quake Champions, Wolfenstein New Colossus, and Project Cars 2.
