It is happening very often in the last times I've played For Honor. Some people do have latencies from hell, like 100+. And they get benefits from that. Faster attacks, instant gb, you name it. That's just unfair for players like me, who have good Internet.
So my questions are:
-What are you gonna do about those players?
-Will there be consequences to lag like flipping hell?
-And are you gonna compensate for those incidents?
Laggers are destroying the fun time I had with For Honor. In the last match I've played there was a player who had 100+ latency. It was so terrible that the whole lobby lagged.
I post here same problem, but they cant fix that, couse thay lose 50 percent of player base![]()
I have 13 latency, enemy jump from 60-150 and when i say them to buy better internet, couse they laggy, they just say "you noob l2p my lattency is OK" to me![]()
As i say ... UBI just give adv. to laggers and change nothnig.
1 of more reasons why i leave this "game"
The worst thing is: you cant even leave a game anymore once you have a Chance to see how smooth your opponents Connection is - because you will get penalised.
This game should not allow ppl to play on a server they have a bad connection to. And a bad connection includes more than just high ping. I for example once played with someone on a different continent (im in europe, he is in north america): he had 100 ping and was streaming on Twitch at the same time but the game was still playable. Then there are people with much smaller ping (like 60) and everything they do is unseeable. And why does the netcode prefer the person with the worse connection? If i hit the person with tha bad connection on my screen and he parried on his screen, his version counts: the game revinds as if i he has powers from prince of persia and it plays his version.
I just saw this post when researching latency effects.
This is quite interesting, although I understand that people might get annoyed with people with poor internet, my question is raised at the ignorance of those who blame others for “poor internet” when in-fact I have a 40mb fibre line. My latency is always between 100 and 130. This is not ideal for me either. It always feel like I am missing a parry or a an attack Because of latency issues.
I have even gone to the extend of buying new remote controllers as I thought the issue was because of faulty buttons.
So perhaps not everyone has latency issues because of poor internet, it might also be from where in the world you are connecting and to what servers you are connecting to.
But at least good to hear I am being compensated for the latency issues not the less
