    One year pass?

What the heck is this one year pass, is it replacing the season pass?

    I've wondered that as well.
Do you need it to get future content?

If it means what I think it does, then that would mean they are breaking the season pass up into yearly episodes but you can bet each one of those is the same price as a full price season pass, which of course stinks of another dirty trick to rifle our pockets. When will they ever stop trying to bleed their customers by slight of hand?

It’s similar to the extra activities & micro transactions.. They need to say so consumers know what they are buying. But there silence on the matter should be sounding alarm bells.

Think Div 1 season pass (supply drops)

Think Div 2 Extra Stash space that became early access to the same stash space every gets in the end.

I suspect we will not know until a month after release. Basically they will have got your money and it’s to late for a refund

We will know the finer details next week of the Year Pass.

    But will we.

This is another wait and see comment. It’s less than 2 weeks from release.

What are they scared of that they can’t say now?

    Exactly
If it turns out to be the worse case scenario like above posts then I don't think I'll be playing long term. Which is to bad really. but as of this point I'm sick and tired of the smoke and mirror routine we as gamers get now a days.

The one year pass means that you get access to the free year-1 DLC a week earlier, plus "exclusive activities," a bunch of cosmetic items, "and more."

On TD1 the "exclusive activities" and "more" turned out to be the crappy bi-monthly supply drop, and Massive did not reveal this until way into the game being released already.

I will say that the supply drops were full of useless junk until maybe 4 months ago they started having a chance at Classy items and also started giving Div Tech. Now, as soon as I get them, I run it on each of my characters so the Div Tech adds up. If they had Div Tech from the moment the Optimization Station went live I would say it was worth the 10 bucks. Not as sure though. I get they don't want to finalize specifics until the game is set into release form so they speak in generalizations. I get that. But, when they backpedal on things that shouldn't be generalizations like Extra Stash Space meaning Early then I start to understand the 'conspiracy theorist' view points among us. (not saying you specifically)
