    Genius tacticians

Man everytime i did an outpost i had zero morale because of the music.

it's like the twins did it on purpose so that anyone trying to sneak around would be stressed out by music that makes people feel like they are being held down while diarrhea is funneled straight into the ears. At first i thought it was just about being part of a bad sound track but even when i turn off music volume i still have to put up with it, at that point i realized it was about stressing potential invaders into making a mistake.

i never cared about music in general, to me it was always something that was simply going on in the background while i played videogames but thanks to this game i learned bad music exist. Also bad music can effect the focus of a player and make players debate to themselves whether to just mute the sound despite no longer being able to hear enemies

To be fair, the original score for the game is very good. But I agree the licensed tracks are only going to appeal to people who either enjoy rap or cheesy oldies.

I especially like the creepy audio when you revisit certain places from FC5, like John's bunker and Dutch's Island.

FC5 had a very good licensed soundtrack, so it's dissapointing that the radio music in New Dawn is limited to just those two specific genres.

Yep, Ubi really screwed the pooch with the music in this game. To have done it so right in FC5 and fall so low in ND is really disappointing.

I think the music suits the enemy you're fighting. I'm no fan of rap but the score works for the environment although I do turn the main music off so just the radios in outposts and cars for me.

i don't listen to music but my friends listen to all kinds when we hang out, and even though i don't enjoy the music it doesn't bother me either. i've never had a problem with Snoop Dog or DMX(Oddly enough DMX is usually the one who barks), this game didn't just incorporate rap but the worse rap they could find

The kind of music i imagine that was designed to break peoples spirits, it's not about the genre it's about the quality.

If you don't like the licensed music, there is a Streamer Mode available in the Options - Audio and Video menu.
Turning that ON will stop all licensed music. Note that it won't be replaced by something else, it will just not play.

What's the crazy rap song in the game with the high voice with what sounds like a mock Asian accent? It's super annoying but slowly winning me over and I smile every time it plays in an outpost.

Probably "Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom"? Yeah, it grows on you.

(but there are some others that would classify as high pitch annoying rap).

Three questions, what does streamer mode do? Can i use it if i don't stream? Will turning it on cause my game to lag?

if i can use this option to replace the bad music with silence without it effecting my gameplay i'm all for it
i'm okay with cheating to bypass the music now because i've already beaten all outpost at rank 3

What's wrong with simply going into the audio section, selecting music and turning it off or right down low ?? Then all other sounds are heard as normal
