    Any solution to this yet? Bought this during one of the recent sales exclusively for the coop mode. I'm in Australia and friend is in Canada. Previously played through Farcry 4 together without an issue. Followed all suggestions here and else were. Did every troubleshooting tip but every time the same error. Played other online games to confirm we weren't crazy, literally only New Dawn has this error. This is a poor effort from Ubisoft, fix your net code or give the option to kick high ping coop players, don't mandate it. Not all of us live in places with optimal internet to meet poorly defined characteristics of the bookworm error.

    No worries, SailorScout. When it comes to kicking dead horses, I qualify for a doctorate!

    Still holding out hope that someone sees sense.

    It makes little to no sense to me that I can play FC5 with the friend I intended to play New Dawn with, in fact the friend who bought New Dawn TO play with me, but that I can't play New Dawn with him due to ping.

    It seems a simple enough fix. Give us an option to turn off the ping kick. Doesn't affect others co-op experience, fixes ours. Makes this seem less of a throw away product with no planned support and more a "Hey guys, oops, we made an oopsie, we fixed it!"

    Again, my utmost thanks to the Ubi support staff for still checking the thread and passing on our concerns.

    In Australia, still having this issue with Arcade mode in FC5, not once have i ever been able to play more than 15sec, since never seem to be local hosts when im on, and STILL never had chance to finish those achievments!!!

    Come on UBI, even when im forced to drop down to 4G (mobile internet) connection, i can still play other online games with little to no issue, even with international hosts.

    Yet ive never once been able to play FC5 with international hosts, even now i have fiber to the node (still fluctuates, but playing ever other game i own fine online when i want to).

    Sorry guys, but i have to disappoint you.
    Don't expect that this bug will ever be fixed.
    There are a lot more reports about obvious bugs in this forum, where the ubisoft staff tells the people in very kind words that these reports have been passed to the dev teams.
    But that it was, none of them has ever been fixed.
    Far Cry 5 and New Dawn are closed cases for ubisoft, there will not be any further updates/patches.
    Kepp that in mind, if you plan to preorder or buy new games from ubisoft.
    They probably will have the same bugs or other bugs, that never will be solved then.

    The error you’re having is a result of a high ping in the connection between you and your co-op partner. To avoid potentially affecting the quality of the cooperative experience for our players, we will not be making any changes to New Dawn’s co-op mode setup.

    As an alternative, we would recommend these PC steps to see if they improve your issue. Ultimately, this is something that we will not be able to resolve. We apologize for the negative experience and appreciate everyone reaching out regarding this error message.
