All weekend I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing Far Cry in Co-op mode..............Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 5 that is.
Even with the negative reviews of Fallout 76, at least Bethesda communicates. Whoops.....am I allowed to say that?! Did I just break a rule?!
I don't care at this stage. Delete it, ban me, I'm over it. Ubisoft advertised a capability for this product that evidently does not work for a large number of people.
Stop giving your community carrots on a stick and fix your broken product. We've been patient enough.
Best we can hope for is an update tomorrow when they return to work. I am trying to believe Gumdrops will return with news. Do not fail me, flavorsome Ubi employee of the millenia! ( well. If you bring us info, you should be their employee of the millenia. )
Otherwise its refund and review time, plus looking at ways to report bad business practice.
I think that's the 4th....maybe 5th Ubi representative?! Regardless, thank you for the update UbiGabrinth.......but in our defense, we were told the same thing 94 posts ago at post #14.
Before too long I wouldn't be surprised if the only people who'll actually play co-op are achievement hunters because everyone else will go elsewhere to scratch that good old co-op itch. I do hope I'm wrong of course.
Pretty sure this kind of 'soon' is trademarked by Blizzard. It is disappointing to me that this is the response we get. No attempt to answer our questions, another Ubisoft person rather than any of the ones who have said they will get back to us ( hi, Wusky. See your replies to five or so tech support forum posts but no follow up here?I thought we had something! )
I know CSR's are often in the position of putting out fires they did not start, often given buckets of grease rather than water by the folks who can change things, but this whole thing has been a joke.
Put simply: Does Ubisoft accept that this is a technical fault, not tied to our port forwarding and due to be fixed? Not asking for an ETA.
Why is it still not listed under current issues, despite having been on top of the tech support forum for a month?
You are right. We are frustrated. The response from Ubisoft has been unacceptable and disrespectful. We are not asking you to pop in thread and say, "It is fixed!" but for you to acknowledge it is a problem in the game, not on our end and tell us, yes, we will fix it.
Soon two months since this thread was started. And even more since the bug was first mentioned. Two patches and several updates to the "Known issues thread". I'll just put this in the drawer of "totally-screwed-by-multi-millionaire-game-studio-because-too-few-have-the-problem". 100$ might not be much for Ubisoft but it's much for me. About that amount I flushed down the toilet when I bought this game for both me and my friend on his birthday.
