The game played fine up until I tried to start my first expedition. I got the error in the subject line and it told me it was taking me back to the main menu. I tried a few times... same thing. I read online that this error can have something to do with your save games so played some more (skipping the expedition) until was confident that another save had happened. I was able to start and finish the expedition so I though it was solved. Now when the expedition is over and the cut scene is over and it is loading the game (back at my home base I would assume) I get the same error. When taken to the main menu I hit continue and get the same error. I can restart the game and do the expedition mission gain (the aircraft carrier one) but the same thing happens as soon as I complete it.
It appears my only option at this point is to start a new game but I don't want to do this if this is going to continue happening. FYI - I have played Far Cry 5 multiple times on the same graphics settings with no issues.
Hey mikimiki5,
Could you create a ticket on our website and include the following details.
- The save location for Far Cry New Dawn
- The free space available on that drive
- Your MSInfo and DXDiag
Thank you
I was hoping the free space on the drive as mentioned above was the issue. I only had a couple of gigabytes of space available. I uninstalled Far Cry 5 and had 77 gigabytes afterwards. Started the game up... launched the expedition and same error code. One thing that was different tonight is that I am getting the error code at the beginning of the Expedition instead of after I finish it. I cannot even start it. As soon as it is about to begin the error message pops up and my only option is to return to main menu. It was happening like both before and after I freed up space on my hard drive.
