    Completed in 3 day's!!!!!!!!!

does this game have no content at all? i have completed all missions cleared all the outposts to lvl 3 and every expedition to lvl 2 (was saving the lvl 3 for co op but i cannot see the point now) constructed every weapon/vehicle and upgraded every piece of Prosperity to maximum all in just over 3 days. it wouldn't be such a problem if there was a NG+ or DLC content to look forward to but you have stated categorically that you will "Not" be including any (FFS there is not even any weekly challenges like FC5) and i am just left with a bitter taste in my mouth and a feeling that this game has just ended up a huge cash grab.

Game does seem short compared to Far Cry 5 but i'm still really enjoying it. Don't think i'm even half way through yet.

I really like the post apocalyptic feel and all the colour as the outpost scavenge feature but just wish the game filled a lot more of the far cry 5 map.

I haven't finished it yet (I really take my time with games), but I've seen a lot of disappointment towards it. People hate the ending, people think it's too short-- someone I know literally finished it in the same day it came out. People don't feel a connection to the characters, even ones from FC5 (Rye family, Grace, Sharky). The game is beautiful, but it just feels like it's seriously missing something.

And if it's a continuation from FC5, shouldn't there be some relics lying around? Sure, Prosperity is John's ranch. Sure, Rye & Daughters Aviation is there to go see. Sure, Joseph's destroyed statue is there. But I'm talking about, like... finding John's coat with the planes on it, or the Seed family graves, or one of Joseph's Eden's Gate bibles, or dead Bliss flowers or something. I do like the game, but it feels like it has no replay factor, like the previous Far Cry games have. I re-played FC5 twice. I've been thinking of re-playing FC3 and FC4 again. But I don't feel that for New Dawn. They rushed this game and it shows. And you said they aren't doing any DLCs for it, or an Arcade or extra content? That's sort of depressing. New Dawn should've been a DLC, not a $50 "full game".

i am a completionist and have played FC5 until there is absolutely no content left to unlock so i found this game (whilst beautiful to see and a joy to play) very short and with little to no replay value, in total the main quest took around 10 hours the rest of my playtime was just grinding the outposts for ethanol and grabbing every supply drop (every 2-5 mins a new one dropped) the thing that took the longest was getting 40 kills for every hire but when you realize even rabbits count as kills even this takes little to no time at all and if you use the expeditions even the weakest hires can complete all there challenges in less than a hour or so.

If even Ubisoft thought there wasn't enough content to justify regular full retail pricing, this should have been a forgone conclusion. The more I hear about the game, the happier I am I passed on it... Sounds like I dodged a bullet there... I'm still fully content playing RDRII for like the 5th time...

Me too. I was ready to buy the game as well. Glad I waited.

Ps. I found RDRII obnoxiously linear/scripted. Any attempt to play missions the way you wanted was meant MISSION FAILED!
Pi$$ed me right off that game...

26 hrs and all I have left is Expeditions on a harder difficulty which I'm waiting for a friend to do with. A very small story for such a big asking price Ubi. This is probably 8% compared with the storyline in Odyssey.

    I also totally agree..
They better had this as another DLC.

Some things I admit I enjoyed totally, the crafting and the post apocaliptic scene for sure, and maybe the journey missions, too.
But the story, the map, everything is only sometimes even less than half of FC5...
In FC5 there was so much to do, fishing contest, many more outfits, way larger map and of all things the story in New Dawn is so extremely fast over...

Sure it's just a Spin off, but I expected much more. Only one companion at the same time- yea of course because there are only half of them available..
Less vehicles, you can't set attachments of the weapons- which especially would have been nice with this crafting system, less side missions, everything less...
I even thought you will fight against the twins one after another, but no, just one final battle and both are finished the same time...
Then another mission right after that and the game is over.

That was really dissapointing compared to FC5- and of all for this price! Ubi is already offering it cheaper, but for all ppl who preordered on official Ubi shop, you payed the full price.
