Started so angry but after some humble pie, yeah still a little annoyed but:

I've really enjoyed the enhancements to the environment. Graphically I'm amazed at the quality and high FPS especially compared with titles like Wildlands and Odyssey (PC). I think the perks are better and less complicated and a nice touch to add the eden extras and multipliers.

I still don't know if I'm happy with FC turning into a loot shooter. I've warmed up a little to ND (the humble pie bit, see Ubi i'm not a total ****) and it does add longevity but it's the least creative way to achieve it. Ubisoft games are getting dangerously close to each other I just wish I wasn't such a graphics ***** but there is no denying they make some of the best playing environments out there.

The missions although not enough have been varied and enjoyable along with excellent music scores and cutscenes, acting is on point. Expeditions were a good inclusion and fun to play although a little easy and if they are hard for some

just take Gina, she's op. Actually she's great for distracting monstrous animals while you hit the softspot.
I also like Prosperity and how it works, again upgrading via looting is done to death is there not a better way?.

I don't know, we have Division and Odyssey for loot progression does FC really need to be?

I actually started the opposite, i really loved the game early on but as i've progressed its slowly wore my fun levels down honestly.. The forced micro-transactions, the overpowered spongy enemies even on easy... the lack of well anything customization wise.. loot is non existent, the companions are atrocious as is the forced car radios every single time......The absolutely horrible save system..

Dunno if i'll finish this.. I'll be far more cautious buying ubisoft games in my future after the odyssey and New Dawn micro transaction garbage they force on us now..

New Dawn can be extremely tedious at times... It's barely a game at all. More like a collect-a-thon disguised as a game.

The collecting aspect reminds me of FC4, only worse. Which is weird because when FC5 came out this tedious element had gone away, so I really thought Ubi had realized their mistakes. But nope... Now it's back and worse than ever.

I think because FC5 allowed you to be tough from the beginning and Ubisoft must have seen the sharp decline in microtransactions for that title and arcade mode failed miserably. To fast track ND you absolutely have to buy something but I had time for the progression and within 3 days i had all the legendary gear without a single micro purchase. I don't agree with the lack of loot @Dante noted. Expeditions were easy and supplied you with enough and Timber would sniff out anything you missed, the world was abundant with loot and perks.

I absolutely hated the game in the beginning because I didn't approach it as progression based (why should I). If something in the world was to OP, simply run and leave it be until you're stronger. Add both takedown perks and all outposts were easily achievable on easy and hard giving lots of bonus ethinol for being undetected. It was a lot easier to perform takedowns than earlier titles they've clearly changed the mechanics of this because take-down would also activate head-on in most instances not just behind. weapons will not cut it in the early stages unless you farm hard right from the start.

You need to approach this game more like Odyssey but a big proportion of the FC fanbase is going to hate this idea, risky move Ubi.

If newcomers to ND want some good advice; don't progress AT ALL in the story for at least 5 hours, just grind. (yucky but necessary)

This game was far too short for the asking price and they simply padded it out with progression based looting. That is my biggest criticism of the game.

Ubisoft made a big mistake by

putting that monstrous animal near Prosperity at the beginning of the game. It was obvious we were gonna try to kill it and get completely overwhelmed and rage quit. I noticed it never appeared there again. **** move

I thank you for your feedback.

I said in another thread, there sounds way too many issues with this game and frustrating elements that I suspect outway the good that’s there...

It’s a shame because the small team they had make this game I suspect tried their best on a small budget and tight production schedule.

And even more of a shame because these ‘experiments’ give you a glimpse of a great game and often take more risks than the ‘proper’ FARCRY sequels, evolving the formula in interesting ways.
I personally think PRIMAL given more time to cook, could of been the best FARCRY since FC2.
