1/3 the game for the same price...

i have played through most of the game in one day to which is in of itself a giant let down. I was willing to let the really really really bad ending to far cry 5 go when i found out it was a set up to a post apocalyptic game... having said that i think most people would agree we would rather have waited 6 more months to get a complete game... its hard to get your head around far cry 5 being so big and somehow the county shrank by 70% of the previously playable area in far cry new dawn...this game is fun to a point we dont mind grinding and repetitive game play but this one seems to be mostly just that. The addition of the expiditions was a good move they are fun but by giving every outpost 3 tiers made it feel like it was done to try to make up for the huge lack of content... the only hope is big expansions to open up the rest of hope county...but i wont hold my breath... next time you give half the game maybe charge us half the price.. and yes i do realize what time and effort go in to makinng these games but im not the one that set the bar and expectations so high ubisoft...😁
But we still love you ubi even though were fighting right now...

This should have been a $30 USD expansion for Far Cry 5.

It is half price on cdkeys.com and mine activated np.. Since there was no 100coin discount on uplay i felt UBI gave me no choice to shop elsewhere.

I paid $40 for New Dawn and $70 for FC 5. How are they the same price?

    I do agree.

I think for a budget title the price starts at £29.99

In the UK FC: New Dawn is £39.99 — which too be honest is only £14.99 cheaper than a full priced game here.

And from the sound of it, this game is no FC PRIMAL. PRIMAL was freakin massive, and included a whole new set of features and ways to play. It wasn’t perfect, but I would say it had enough content to justify a full price... Almost. Obviously far less recycled assets given the setting being wildly different — the Neolithic period. I still contend they were some of the best forests I’ve seen in a videogame.

I was a big fan of PRIMAL. Loved that game.

It sounds to me with ND it would be better to wait for a sale. Especially as they even stripped certain features from FC5! Now 1 Gun for Hire, and no freakin Gun customisation!!! What the heck!?!

Although I've not played Primal (just got back into PC gaming) I agree with everything you said. I was expecting this to be a very cut down FC5 so I never purchased it. Waiting for a massive price drop to be more commiserate with what you actually get.

I hate to say it but this game is a desperate cash grab, nothing more.

It was alot of fun but no where near worth the price they are asking. Now had this been a DLC addition it would have been amazing as we all know DLC are not full games. This isnt the case though. They are trying to make us believe this is a full game and demanding a near full game price tag. . Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

You arent fooling me again ubisoft. Im going to be so much more leary of all your titles. So many have not lived up to expectations or hype. Ive read through your forums and people offer you such good ideas but you dont listen or take it to heart, not really.

Back in the day this would have been a well put together expansion for a PC game.

I think £29.99 is a better price point...

Ps. Try PRIMAL, played on SURVIVOR MODE I thought it was the most harmonious FAR CRY experience I’ve had. All of FARCRY’s long established systems finally were given meaning forming a coherent whole. Whilst certainly not perfect, PRIMAL understood what FARCRY truly is - at its core, FARCRY is about survival.

While i will agree it wasnt “full price” anything over 40 dollars should be a full game this felt like an expansion on par with the witcher 3 expansions rather than a stand alone title but i digress if you thought this game was all it could be for the price then thats great im not debating weather or not individuals feel like they got their moneys worth all i was saying is far cry 5 took me like a week and a half to “beat” if you can call that ending beating it... this one took more or less one day and for a game to cast 40 bucks it should have been (a) bigger and (b) more polished graphivs were good but they got lazy on the avatars i mean every outpost had a male or female quest or side quest giver and they were the same avatar and voice depending and they also showed up out in the wilds giving quests ... anywho it is what it is at this point this was all just my opinions and we all know what opinions are like and everyone has one...
