    I'm detecting a theme here. I have the same problem with my subtitles, and I'm also running the game and UPlay launcher on separate drives.

    Save files are kept on your C: drive for Ubisoft games. There can be troubles with the data moving over especially if something like Windows Storage Spaces is in use.

    Let me know if temporarily disabling Windows Defender, making changes to your save files, and closing the game allows for the setting changes to stick. You should then enable Windows Defender.

    I have the exact same issue and uplay and FC:ND are both installed on the same root drive. Gamepad aim assist also keeps getting turned back on, but the driving aim-assist has stayed off.

    I confirm I play consistently with Windows Defender off since I use a 3rd party antivirus, but the subtitles issue is present on my version as well.

    I am also having this subtitles keep turning back on problem as well, but I am running everything from the exact same drive.

    We have what is currently available to us as of right now. As far as the upcoming new March 14th update tomorrow, well were going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
