    Noise in graphics

There is a lot of graphical noise (like tv static but green) in dark scenes using the Radeon VII This is exacerbated by using freesync 2.

Haven't gotten past the opening as it looks so horrible. I've attaches two photos, second one being a close up so you can see the issue clearly

    GPU: Radeon Vii
    Driver 19.2.2
    Win 10 x64 17134.590

I have also tested with Far Cry 5 and this does not happen in that game.

I've already done a clean driver install, replaced cables tried with and without freesync, freesync 2, hdr on all settings, changing graphics to low etc..

Hey! I'm having this exact issue, except I'm using a GTX 970 and the issue occurs only when HDR is on.

    Hey folks,

Are you both playing the game with HDR turned on? Does turning HDR off get rid of the issue?

    Thank you.

HDR definitely makes it worse, however in dark areas it's still very visible without HDR.

Interestingly I also noticed that this does not occur during cut scenes

    Hey emperoralku,

So it only seems to appear in gameplay, not in cutscenes?

We are aware of an issue with HDR but I will pass on to the team that noise appears outside of HDR.

Is the images while HDR is on or off?

    Thank you.

The noise disappears during cutscenes but it's present at all other times. Worst during scene transitions when there the screen turns black. The images I provided were with hdr on. I will attach some comparison shots when I get home.

    update images:

As you can see it's pretty hideous no matter whether on or off.

Those pictures look just like what I'm seeing on my end. Turning off HDR removes a lot of the noise, but it's still visible. With HDR on it makes dark areas look like an ancient tube tv, which affects the dark opening mission pretty hard.

Just to add, I also don't have any noise/issues on the menus/cutscenes
