Let me ask this; will there be an advantage to having more than one character? I never thought about it until now.

Yes actually there would be. In order to re-start a brand new campaign from the very beginning.

One at launch, but I will fill all my character slots fairly quickly.

1 initially to max level, then a second.

1 all specific to PvP and the other 1 all specific to PvE

    ( I don't want to have to change out mods/weapons/armor )

I used my extra characters in the first game as extra storage. But after the Classified sets came out, I put different set on different toons. In this game you could use one for each specialization (eqiupped to that specialization).

That is actually an excellent idea. Having full set bonus that synergize with each of your characters specialty class makes a huge amount of sense, especially since your also going to choose weapons that synergize as well. Thanks!

I've always been a 1 character player in games.

Prolly 4, depending how enjoyable it is to replay the campaign.

I have 4 in Div 2 because dailies and it makes grinding gear easier...we'll see if we end up needing the same thing in Di2.

At least two. One reserved only for coop play with one of my friends who can't really get on more than 1-2 times per week typically. That way we can level up together and there won't be a huge gap between us.

Another might be for solo and perhaps a 3rd save slot for PvE with my other friends.
