How many characters are you going to roll at launch?

I’m thinking about working up three characters and keeping each one say 5 levels apart. This way I can save the best weapons and pass them down.

    Your thoughts?

1 character for now, other than mules down the road will not need to roll another leveled and geared character. It was my understanding that we would be able to switch between the three end game specialties. If that is not the case I'll roll 1 then save the weapons that would cover every 5 lvls.

Yes. Unlike the traditional class choices, you aren’t locked into your chosen Specialization and can switch between the different endgame classes at any point, retaining any progress you made.

1 character only never had more than 1 in TD1 never needed more than 1 but my one character in TD2 is going to be a complete copy of my TD1 character carrying on his story from NYC to DC.

I only ever had one before. I would have to guess just one for D2.

Start with one and end up with 4 maxed out characters, just like i did in TD1.
4 characters = 4 x rewards... For dailys, legendary, HVT and such.

Two I would think. One that will be my main character and one to use with a mate as he probably wont play as much as me. No point me getting ahead of him level wise etc.

Same. I plan on playing TD2 a lot and would rather just split the specializations between each character for realism sake. Usually have three maxed characters and a backup if one of my buddies joins late so that I can level up that character with them but from what Yannick and Hamish had said in the pre-beta livestream, low-level friends can join you and gain your power while they're with you rather than getting decimated so it might not be a big issue.

One for me. This game genre is not the kind where I want multiple characters.
