This kind of corner tracking has always been in this game. Centurion's kick can do the same, any sort of bash with forward movement and average range will as well.

The way I'm reading the thread, no one here defends these types of attacks. Vakris and Evo merely pointed out that other attacks also do it, Pepsi went further and stated that these attacks need to get looked at.
I even took a peek at the Reddit thread accompanying the clip you linked, and no one there defended it either, but also highlighted that other attacks works the same way, and that maybe they shouldn't.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm not reading anything about defending this.

Meh. Does it look ridiculous? Definitely. Is it annoying when it happens? Most likely. Is it a pressing issue with the game? Not really.

That situation is not going to repeat more than once every 20 matches. Also, no tracking whatsoever would be involved if the dodge is timed a bit later. It was just as much a misplay from the Centurion as it was the game's ridiculous tracking.

I personally didnt feel like any of this was flaming or trolling. Rather the humorous joke of raising whose had the best teleport/slide/environmental-ignore bets is clever and a fun way to see it.
