🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The For Honor forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

Whether Eric Pope was strongly supported by the community or not, and whether he strongly supported the community or not, he contributed to this game. Even with its flaws, For Honor is my favorite game. I could list many things I'd like to see change in the game and in the community, but the fact is Pope was a part of my favorite game, so I personally would like to say THANKS!

I really hope he will be happy and succesful in his future endevours, I liked him as a person when I watched the streams. And I hope the new community manager will take an entirely different approach and focus more on balance address and less about memes. This game will die in the not too far future if they will not make every hero at least a correct fighting chance against every other hero. Design, new heroes, new content, jokes, new game modes, events, new campaign: they are the cherry on the cake, but the cake itself must support the cherry.

Pope has focused more on the memes and reddit posts than the official forums or the games balancing issues. Yes, memes are great, but the game has always struggled to retain player interest for those not counted among the hardcore faithful and the community needs more transparency moving forward as to what the devs are debating, what ideas they plan on implementing and what they think about the issues the player base sees on a regular basis.

Not going to say anything about Pope but the biggest problems with this Game is how unbalanced the classes are and how long it takes to balance and i dont think the devs way to break the defensive meta was the way to go. I Hope the person that replaces him takes care Of these problems.

Lol you guys forget that he was just the "Community Manager" ... his job doesn't include all of this. His job is just communication between players and devs. If the devs from balancing/content/whatever sections don't do their job, then it isn't Eric's job to correct that. His job is just trying to communicate it the best way possible.

Season 10 means "Year three season two"? I already forgot the old system.
