Need a profanity or language filter option

Can we make sure this is a part of The Division 2? There is sufficient demand of your customers to just ad this into the game. Before getting flamed from the "it's rated "M" for a reason" crowd or the "headphones" crowd, there are many reasons to include it. Like many have said on other threads and forums from the original Division. People are OK with some animated video game violence, we understand this is fake. But the words that come with no filter through the TV screen are prohibitive to enjoying the game with kids, family members, spouses, or perhaps you want to stream the game but you are a family friendly streamer.

It does no harm to let those who want a filter to experience the same great game without the F bombs and other curse words all over the place. As another poster indicated on another thread, the constant cursing is just a turn off. It's so juvenile. I don't want to hear that coarse of language and I won't buy the game unless there is a filter included. My friend that I play with won't either. We are committed Christian gamers with a sensitivity to offensive language. We've grown up playing shooters and being OK with computer non real violence. But the language is real and of poor taste to many.

And to the headphone crowd out there who will obviously respond to this thread, I don't want to play a game with headphones b/c I personally find the language offense, nor do I want to play with headphones if I have a nice surround sound system for my gaming.

Ubisoft knows that a large chunk of their players will come from those who are under 17 years of age. Just add the dang filter and make thousands of your customers more happy. Or gain thousands because you bleeped out the words. It's an easy choice.

So lets use other words to mean the same thing as the 'offensive' words.

Its not the words, its the emotions when certain words are spoken, you 'silly bird'.

( guess what that 'really' means ) LOL

I have nothing against a filter.

Quite frankly some parts of the game are mind-numbingly dumb on how much they curse. Being called an A-hole three times in a row made me sort of laugh to my friend about it. I hope they tone it down a bit. Again, that wasn't throughout, just certain parts.

Strong language is common to most cultures but what makes a word profane is in many cases dependant on where you live and how your raised.
-Short story is who makes the terms on what is foul and what is not?

I've always wondered who deemed curse words profane. To me, a word is a word. Why did somebody decide that one word is a cuss word, and another word is just fine. Did these cuss words do something to somebody to really make them mad and so they said, "That's it! 'F**ck' is now a cuss word. But 'mother', now that word is still ok." I mean it doesn't make sense. Why make one word a cuss word and the other not.

I get it but that's more difficult to achieve then you make it seem.
Best you would get is a mute all other players button.

It's a little concerning that you might find the audio offensive, but the gunplay, people burning and the general violence in the game is not....
