    Invisible/appear offline = necessity

I fully agree. Lack of the option makes me hesitant to play. I have a great group of friends I game with, all very enjoyable people to chill with & all very helpful.

Basically, my friends are such great people that I need a way to hide from them. Lol.

I recently started Division 2, as they'd been playing it for a while now. I like to solo the early stages of a game, or at least learn along with someone else. This way I can learn every aspect of the gameplay & familiarize myself with the options, character skills, & general methods of interaction with the game itself, while enjoying the story line/lore portion of things. I don't enjoy feeling like I'm holding anyone else back from their own style of gameplay.

My friends are more than willing to wait while I look over things & take in the lore, but still it stifles my learning the other aspects/details of the game.

There is also the occasion I just wanna chill alone and play for a bit without the commitments and volumes that come with a group. I sometimes like to fully immerse into a game for a bit, but it's hard to do unless alone, & I don't enjoy giving the impression I don't want someone around, unless there's good reason. I'm not one to ignore people I like or care about, so lack of the option creates an unnecessary tension that I'd like to avoid entirely.

Bump! I also submitted yet another feedback/suggestion to Ubisoft support.

I chose to end my play session today and log off instead of dealing with the social labor involved in telling people you just want to play by yourself. This is a glaring feature omission. I know it's counterproductive to reward bad behavior, but I'm actually considering buying a second copy of the game with a different login just to be able to play completely invisibly.

    Bump also

For crying out loud, Ubisoft. You want to release your games through your own drm, fine! But at least add the minimal features required to do so. It's not asking too much. It's a simple thing to implement.
