    The Divsion 2: Beta

    Hey all, I am finally getting around to posting about my experience with the Div2 Beta. Overall I really enjoyed the gameplay and look forward to viewing more of the storyline and exploring the world. Now to the point of my post:

    Several problems my friends and I encountered while playing include:

    -In the first couple days there were two types of game disconnects. The first being just disconnected and loading back at the character screen. The second was a disconnect where the screen went white with the Division logo, after which it would close out of the game completely to dashboard. Both of those issues seem to have been fairly well resolved with that first patch on the second night, but still occurred occasionally.

    -Another issue we encountered was the game map not loading as quickly as we were running through areas, which resulted with running into "invisible walls", as it appears the game engine loads the map in quadrants/sections. While it still takes time for the physical map to load, the NPC's patrolling the streets are spawning in before the terrain itself, which can be quite a grieving effect as you try to find cover behind you.

    -A similar issue to that which involved NPC's spawning was patrols that the enemy NPC icons showed up next to you as you ran through an area, but the phsyical bodies weren't rendered yet, so they seemed invisible; but are able to attack the players, or in some instances, the NPC group despawned/disappeared.

    -Issues with player movement include some of the following:
    -While in cover in a perched location, for example the roof of a truck or small mobile trailer; using the "A" button feature to combat roll away from a grenade would instead drop us into said vehicle or trailer. Fast traveling out works, but only if you are not in combat.
    -Getting stuck while trying to vault over a small obstacle, where the other side is blocked by a friendly NPC; resulted in the player getting stuck on top of the obstacle. Example was the circular fountain ring for the Navy Plaza contested location.

    -One issue that didn't really start for me until after that first patch came out was sound cutting out entirely, or everything except the sound of footsteps over hard/noisy surfaces. Examples: trash, water, boxes. Sometimes the sound would come back partially, with gunfire returning or with delayed gunfiring noise effects. Example: hearing gunfire after the firefight is already over. Logging out to the character screen, then back in didn't always resolve that issue. Sometimes to fix it required closing out of the game completely to Xbox dashboard first, then restarting the game.

    -One mission I had an issue with was opening the garage door for the True Sons ammo caches mission, the garage door did not have the option to open it. Then on another playthrough with someone else hosting the group, the option to open that door was available.

    -Did you play on consul or PC?
    -I got allot of Delta errors myself.
    -Never had a problem with maps not loading quickly (PC side).
    -I once saw a floating body.
    -Didn’t have a problem with NPC rendering.
    -Never had any movement issues or got stuck.
    -Had plenty of sound bugs, fixed it by restarting the game.
    -Never had problems opening doors.
