DIV2 beta feedback
Thanks for the beta access. I played every day during access and it really grew on me!
My thoughts/observations:
▪Font size - too small. It would be helpful to be able to adjust the font size everywhere. I found it really hard to read what I had looted when the message flashed up; hard to see mod details, any messages that flashed upetc.
▪Inventory - with the new transparent inventory slots I found it really hard to read, not only font size, but trying to read especially against a light background, had to either go into a building or try to find a dark background against which to open my inventory to be able to see properly.
When first opening my inventory I found it hard to see at a glance what I had looted or earned, ie was it gloves, a mask? Maybe highlight the slots in a clearer way to indicate they have new items in them?
New loot to appear at the top of the list rather than scroll through to find it?
Weapons - forced use of equipped sniper scope wasn't fun.
Inventory, I found it harder to see at a glance which main weapons I had equipped.
Found it harder to work out/see whether/what mods were equipped. (Not all crafted or looted mods could be equipped during beta).
Gear mods - modding was harder to see at a glance, not as clear as in Div1 ie what was in slot, which slots were for what. The whole modding thing gear and weapons isn't as intuitive as D1.
* After 2 years of muscle memory deconstructing and locking/saving gear and mods, the buttons have switched. Is that necessary?
Loss of indicator of how full inventory is.
▪Map - Font size for the map-key on left of map small/hard to read.
Snap-to waypoint marker or snap-to location/object marker not working.
▪Other
How about 6 arrows for the crossbow instead of 3?
Would be good to have the ability to lie prone instead of only being able to crouch.
An agent calling for backup, would be helpful to know where they are and what they are doing to let you decide whether you want to get involved in the mission or task they are doing.
Got caught in battle a few times either stuck on corners/against walls or trapped by friendlies.
Was running upstairs and hit an invisible barrier.
Occasionally had my shoulder inside a wall or legs inside an object or sign on the footpath.
Does DC only sell green paint 
Shot tyres didn't deflate.
The occasional teleporting/ice skating NPCs, screaming rusher hyenas - some run sideways while coming for you.
I found that even when in cover, reds could kill me very easily, even as a gold in the end-game.
In the end-game I could only damage warhound robots by shooting their legs, they didn't take damage elsewhere.
* When my agent was running this drove me a bit crazy, my agent sounded like he was running with dinner plates tied to his feet.
* ISAC seems to say agent decease instead of deceased.
▪Just a thought
One thing that would be helpful IF possible is a cancel button for fast travel. Sometimes you only just hit fast travel to somewhere and then change your mind and want to to go somewhere else, but are trapped in fast travel for however long it takes... Imagine being able to cancel fast travel.
Fast travel especially to the BOO can take ages. If we can't cancel it, is there any way we could open the map to check out daily challenges or check inventory etc while we are waiting during travel?
