    (Settlers 7) Desync from using custom map forge template

    When I try to create a multiplayer game with my custom made template from the map forge, tbe game runs for about 5-10 minutes before desyncing.

    From my multiplayer companions screen it's also not visable that any custom template has been applied. From my screen it looks like the template works fine, before desyncing.


    Please fix. The game ends too fast with default victory points.

    My buddy and I have the same issue, except that it happens almost instantly after starting the round. Playing with standard settings goes fine.
    Will the desync problems be fixed or at least a work-around provided?

    Hello! Any previous desync issues were thought to be resolved, so we will need to investigate this for you.

    Do you happen to know if this desync only occurs when you both try to play with each other? Are you perhaps able to play with any other players?

    I'm trying to determine if this only occurs under certain circumstances.

    Not ever resolved. Happens 100% of the time regardless of circumstance with custom templates. DMZ is opened on both ends, local or over the net. Which shouldn't apply because when using a non-custom map it doesn't do that. Definitely a bug in game not the connectivity.

    Hi, we just ran into this as well. I made a custom template for the map Grassland Mesa. I just set the victory points to 10 since indeed the game ends too quickly with just 6. Desync after 5-10 mins, twice in a row. If it could be fixed that'd be amazing.
