🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

the division 2 is not division 1.5

it felt like a new game to me.

    • summer of post apocalyptic event
    • bright days and dark nights
    • heavy rain and lighting sky

    ui difficulties
    • modding gear / weapons would be easier with a list view vice
    • maybe a character view screen to select item and show mods equipped in a list
    • picking up crafting materials was hard to see what was picked up

combat felt good but is this desired?
    • unable to track targets at night
    • multiple non stop drones or grenades to hammer at rapid pace
    • running and reload not working?

    movement
    • characters should move around objects
    • stuck on doors and ground items
    • seemed a bit bulky but maybe that's a good thing

    weapon handling
    • no tutorial on how weapon mods affect
    • scopes go out of scope upon shot
    • + and - minus were a nice change but maybe confusing to new players

dynamic content was nice and each replayed mission felt different.
looking forward to release with or without bugs as time will adjust to see what works best for everyone.

i'm a pve guy and pvp stuff is bad for pts.

General agreement (though I like the difficulty in seeing enemies); one thing I'll note is that semi-auto marksman's rifles do not descope when you fire; only the bolt-action rifles did.

I agree with almost all of that, and generally I'm PVE only, but I want the current PVP options. I just want it to be doable as a casual player. The DV1 made that impossible for the most part unless you had a lucky night.

I had issues with sound and some movement where you would think you should be able to hurdle over certain objects but it only worked in specific areas. I also like the idea of it not being easy to track ANY enimies/foes at night or bright light as much, but those people that want to avoid that challenge and get the jump on others will UP the brightness (which I don't like). The game looks better at the default brightness. I would like to see other dynamic weather events like wind/dust storms and even hail and or freezing rain at times. Hell, even a overlay change of the entire map during all four seasons of the year with the weather matching would be awesome.
