Dear Ubisoft,
I can understand that the Year 1 Pass is not included with the Standard Edition and I'm happy with that decision, what I find a little hard to except is why those who choose to pre-order the Standard Edition aren't included under the "Play early from March 12th" initiative. Does preordering not already show a level of commitment towards this title? I mean, the other digital editions already come with so much more including the Year 1 Pass. The least you could do is allow the people who preordered the Standard Edition to join in 3 days in advance or one might just aswell have purchased this edition on the day of release. Let's face it, there's no benefit in preordering this edition other than the Beta Access.
At the very least give us an option via the store to upgrade our existing purchase to the Gold Edition or the Year 1 Pass, for those of us that want to join in the fun 3 days before release.
I still think that that the "Play early from March 12th" initiative should have been included with the preorder bonuses.
PS. The Beta was EPIC! I enjoyed the content we were allowed to do very much and can't wait for the full game to release.
Thanks in advance
They have designed all of the pre-orders to cause FOMO (fear of missing out).
Whatever version you buy, it'll be missing some parts from other versions. That's the way they're designed. The fact you want to upgrade proves that this tactic works.
It's highly unlikely that they will change things at this late date due to fear of a backlash![]()
