I've played the The Division 2 Beta and I've enjoyed it. Unlucikly I couldn't play much more since I have not been home in the other days, but I found anyway a couple of things that could be useful to improve the "usability" and comfort of the inventory interface in some situations.
- Selling items -> Give the player the chance to equip the selected item in the "sell" screen. Sometime you could loot something but not open your inventory to equip it, then you notice you have a good item when you go to a seller. There you realize that you have it and you want to equip it.
To do so, anyway, you have to close the "sell" interface, open your inventory, equip the item and then go back to the seller.
Being able to equip an item directly from the "sell" screen would be much more comfortable avoiding too many useful clicks (I think giving just an "equip" key to press in the "sell screen" would be enough).
- Buying items -> I'm not sure if there is a key for this, since I've bought nothing in the hours I played the game. The suggestion is very similar the previous one: give a "buy and equip" key to the player in the "Buy screen".
(I repeat: I'm not sure if this is already in the game since I've bought nothing and I didn't think to analyze this point.)
- Knowing "what is this" from the main inventory -> It would be good to be able to know "what is this item" from the main inventory, without opening more sub-menus. I often wanted to know what I had equipped, but I couldn't have any info about the item without opening the object related inventory page. It would be nice to just click once on any of the equipped objects (or just moving the mouse on one of them and keeping it for a second), and have a little window or pop-up displaying the item name\category\stats.
It would be just faster and wouldn't require more navigations inside the inventory.
Thank you, I hope my feedbacks come useful!
