I was not sure where we are supposed to post the issues, pros/cons of the beta, so I apologise in advance if this is not the place.
This is a great update of the original game, a true continuation of what would actually happen if such an event occurred There is a great balance of PvE, and PvP, I also believe there are enough full PvP games out there that for hard core players go there, same for hardcore PvE players, for the dev to come up with an equal compromise this game is it.
The graphics in the game are great, though I am on a 4K network and with the Xbox one X. I am not sure if it was the FPS buff for the 4k but I did notice when there was lots going on especially with 4 players in PvE there is some blur in things like the foliage and cars. the other major issue in world is the light to dark is way too slow, and when farming around for resources the dark rooms and corners are way too dark. I am sure I am not the only one that started at a 10, quickly moving to max on brightness, the using the dynamic brightness on the TV when it was a dark phase.
Since the sound issue is a bring over from the D1 I am sure you are aware of it, only now instead of walking being half a block to late, now sometimes the sound is totally gone! I know us experience players don't rely on the cues from our gear, however in the middle of the firefight then hearing hostiles nearby is very annoying. If this game is to be a true tactical game then you have to fix the sticking to cover, also in tactics shooting out the lights is normal and you cannot do that. I think it is normal for PvP to have normalization, this is the same as NSCAR, equal equipment down to skill, maybe adding the pause at the checkpoint gates as well to get rid of spawn sitters.
