The New System of How We Use Our Skills is Flawed

So compared to the first Division, I and several of my friends feel that the new way of controlling the seeker mine and some aspects of the turret is dumb. Like the auto lock on from the previous Division was great but this new one feels more of a hassle for us to deal with while in combat. I feel like y’all should revert back to how it was in the first one but maybe leave us the option to change the person to attack or just make the new pick system better because it feels super clunky and unresponsive at times when it matter the most. Not sure if my group is the only ones out here that feel this way, but I feel like this should definitely be looked at as it feels like a downgrade from the first game.

I disagree about the turret. I really appreciate the ability to direct its fire to a specific enemy. If one rushes me, for example.

I think the new turret started out requiring you to target it. At least, that is what it seemed to do the first day. It may have been patched, as now it seems to auto-target on its own now, but you can still manually target if you want to.

The one I don't like is the bomber drone. That thing just hovers there until you target something, but actually targeting it properly is not very easy. Enemies are either in cover, so actually getting the reticle to target them is difficult, or they are moving, and once you target them it doesn't actually follow them...it then drops a bomb on where they WERE, but not where they ARE. Found it extremely difficult to use.

I just started playing with the seeker mines, since the drone was so useless. Not yet sure how it's going to pan out...but, skills need some work, for sure.

    I agree.

If we are in a heavy fight and moving from cover to cover and lining up shots and getting hit with grenades and drones... having to micromanage our skills is not a good thing.

Having the OPTION to target a specific enemy is nice, but when I am shocked by a baton, being shot, and burning, and trying to reload and run... then I want my turret to help me without my holding its little metal hands through the process.

Thats exactly how I feel...like I think it bothers me most for the seeker mine. I just hate how we have to tell it we’re to go especially with how the enemies move a lot more than what they use to and making it controlled by us makes it less likely to hit the people you want. The turret one I can kinda see why it’s like that but at the same time I place it to help me and to be targeting on its own and not have my time spent telling who and when to shoot.
