Season 1 pass DLC content available for all PS4 users? | Forums

Since there is a sale on the season pass, im considering purchasing it. I play on a second account on my PS4 (doesnt have PS plus) but my main account has PS plus and since it is cheaper on PS plus i am wondering:

If i buy the season pass on my main account that has PS plus, and download the DLC fallen ghosts for example... Will it be available to play on my second account/other PS4 user? (same console)

Basically im asking if i purchase the season 1 pass on my PS plus account (cheaper) can i then restart my PS4 and log on with my other user account and play the DLCs? Or do i need to buy the season pass for a few dollars more on the account I play with?

I don’t see why you have to restart your console, since you could just log off that account and login to the other account

At this day and age where Sony and Microsoft are copying each other‘s ideas I assume the PlayStation account thing is the same as the Xbox

I don’t play on PlayStation but I am assuming the account sharing is the same.

My buddy logged in with his username while my account was logged in still and he was able to play all my content with the sacrifice that I couldn’t play while he’s logged on

don't know about PS4 but sharing isn't available on PC i own two copies of the game and i can't share anything between accounts

I thought Fallen Ghost can be purchased as a stand alone DLC? I mean if that is all you want why spend more money on everything else

I 2as just using fallen ghosts as an example. Id buy the whole season pass since you get everything else that comes with it for about $6 more i think it is

If your PS Plus account has your PS4 set as your primary PS4, then yes, anything you purchase is available to all other accounts on that PS4. For example, when I played Fallout 4, I bought all the DLCs. My nephew had an account on my PS4, but did not buy the DLCs. He still got to play the DLCs on my PS4. I did not have to be signed in.

Only the base game is available for me on my second PS4 account despite owning everything for Wildlands on my main PS4 account.
I asked Ubisoft why it didn't work on both accounts & they referred me to Playstation who said "No it does not work because it's a different account."

Correction: The DLC.s Narco road & Fallen ghosts work across accounts but not the gear or weapons purchased in the store or some packs on PS store.

Thanks, I knew before posting the original message that many (almost all) games DLC stuff works for all users on a PS4...

That being said, ubisoft is f'n weird. And I've read elsewhere when looking for answers to my original question - that lately certain games "dlc content" is assigned what could be called a product key and is only usable once... And with ubisoft being ubisoft, I wanted to be sure for GR Wildlands.

The season pass deal that is going on is kinda too good to pass up, even though i swore i wouldnt spend another penny on Ubisoft games. But i love wildlands so ill make an exception. Hopefully they continue into a season 3 and beyond.
