So I applaud Ubisoft for letting people choose their gender in most games. Its great. I happen to be trans so I'm often hyper aware of gender when playing games. So the thing that bothered me in the first Division is that when you encounter a group of enemies they will refer to the player as "get him" "he's over there" Basically using male pronouns when you are playing a female character. Now i'm sure this may not bother most people but it always has me. Perhaps some awareness to this issue can get it addressed?

And do you play a Male character in game? Typically I find that games do in fact relate to the gender of the character...Originally Posted by Jennifyre Go to original post
Dear mother of holy ****, no, I dont wanna start hearing the enemies go: "That gender pronoun is over there'......ugh...political correctness......
Calm down, Captain MAGA. It would make sense if we heard "She's over there" when the players is a female. That's all. The post says the game still uses male pronouns for females for ****'s sake.Originally Posted by KnightGhostbear Go to original post
What about those who are non binary. Do they get an option too? How about the helicopters? They need representation.Originally Posted by El_Noruego Go to original post
Yes, a major flaw in this game. I hope the game will release with the option of picking a male looking char wearing a skirt and a female looking char with a full beard - and the option to pick the freaky pronouns now put into law in Canada.
Don´t bother to correct the AI ice skating on dry ground or running in place, attackers passing right through your char or shooting you through walls or the sound bugs or the fact that your long range sniping shots don´t register.
So are we going to go with just Him and her or are we going to get them saying all the new types of names for genders ?
What about people that are offended by being called "her". Where will it end ?
This isn't a dig. I am genuinely intereted, in this day and age, how can this issue best be dealt with without someone, somewhere getting offended ?
